Connection

The DiodenHalter is an adapter board, that upgrades the GleisReporter Basic by the diode trick.

The diode trick improves the voltage feed of the locos in a disconnected track section. Because of the diode also the side of the track, that was separated for generating the messages, is still available to supply power to the vehicles.

The employed diodes can be loaded with up to 5A continous current.

The circuit board doesn't change anything in regard to the connection of the tracks, it is simply inserted in front of the GleisReporter Basic.
